A timber pest inspection involves inspecting for any obvious signs of termite infestations, identifying any parts of the property and environmental conditions that could encourage a future pest attack.

Buying a New Property?

Termites are a huge problem for Australia, causing more than $1.5 billion in damage to home every year. We want you to be able to buy with confidence and have peace of mind when it comes to purchasing a property. Our pre-purchase Termite Inspections allow you to make an informed decision about the property and is a smart financial decision as it can save you thousands of dollars in expensive repairs. Following our building inspection report, you can either proceed with buying the property, renegotiate the purchase price, or back out if any major defects are found.

A PROFESSIONAL REPORT

Timber and pest inspections (TPI) are normally designed to look for signs of termites, borers, and wood decay fungi. Without conducting a building and termite inspection, it would leave your property unprotected.

Our report has simple, easy-to-read terms, and you have the inspector’s direct number so you can have any queries answered promptly by the person who conducts your inspection. At Pest Relief, we pride ourselves on providing the best quality timber pest inspections in Perth. All of our inspectors are fully qualified and have years of experience in the field.

We also carry full Professional Indemnity, Professional Liability, and Workers Compensation Insurance because our inspectors are our biggest asset. We’re fully covered, which means so are you!

THE COSTS OF TIMBER AND PEST BUILDING INSPECTIONS

In Perth, the costs of a timber and pest inspection as a part of a pre-purchase building inspection are based on the size of the property, its location, and whether it is single or two-storey.

It is a cost-effective investment to have for both new and established homes and is highly recommended by all real estate agents. We recommend practical maintenance and preventive actions to maintain your investment and have a team of inspectors who are all registered pest technicians with over 10 years of experience.

Our Inspection Procedure

1

Inspector pays a visit to the property

Once you have booked an appointment at your preferred date and time, our inspector will visit the property and wait to get access to the property with the owner, occupant or agent.

Start of Inspection

At this stage, the inspector will thoroughly inspect the property inside out to make sure everything is as per Australian Standards and does not oppose any safety or health hazards. We welcome the owner or agent to join us during this process for verbal findings and concerns.
